Thanks for your interest in Rocket City Brewers. RCB has been active in the homebrewing community since the mid 1980’s when it originally formed as the Madison Sobriety Club. Members consist of a diverse group of individuals living and working in and around the Huntsville, AL area. Regular members have full access to a vast wealth of homebrewing knowledge contained on this website and among the Rocket City Brewers' membership.

We meet once a month on the second Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. Meeting location varies based on who offers to host. The meetings are fairly informal and consist of members circulating samples of homebrew for comments. Typical attendance is around 20 members, so bring at least two 12 oz bottles per beer for sampling. There is also a judging of a representative style, either commercial or homebrew depending on what is available. There is also a beer raffle. Participants enter one bottle of a good homebrew or commercial craft beer, names are drawn, and the last person drawn wins all the beer.
